白露为霜
Dew, and the season it names
蒹葭苍苍，白露为霜。
The reeds are dense and grey; the white dew has turned to frost.

White dew is a solar term as well as the most quoted line in the Book of Songs: 露 is night moisture — clear, cold, and not meant to last.
「白露」既是节气，也是《诗经》里最有名的一句——「露」在这里是夜里的水气，清、凉、留不住。

露 gives a name clarity and brevity: what is good does not have to last to count.
「露」给名字的是清和短暂：好的东西不一定长久，这也是一种诚实。
