In full flower
The peach tree, young and full of life — how brilliantly its flowers burn.
· our translation
A wedding song. 灼灼 is the brightness of blossom; a name takes this sense most often — the moment of full bloom.
Lustre that travels
Bright, bright are the flowers, out on the plains and lowlands.
· our translation
A poem of envoys on the road: lustre spread across open country. Here 华 is light, not blossom.
Dressed for something sacred
Bathed in orchid water, perfumed — dressed in brilliant robes like a flower.
· our translation
From the hymn to the cloud god: bathing, then robes of brilliant colour. 华采 is ritual weight, not decoration.

In a name
Blossom and lustre: something is growing, and it shows.
